This scratching post is very well made and easy to assemble. However, I would like to point out that this is for smaller cats. My big tabby kitten can't get comfortable upstairs. It's about half the size of the one I just replaced. He can hardly turn around in the small corner below, either. Update: After sitting for a few months, this scratching post fell apart completely. I've never had a sisal fast that my cat couldn't handle in such a short amount of time. Don't waste your money. All of this was extremely disappointing.
