I have a large cat - 20 lbs. It is very sturdy and fits in a closet and on the top platform. The upper platform is a comfortable height - fits right under standard windows, allowing the cat to look outside while seated. He has black fur. The cat tower is grey. The fur is almost invisible.

My two adult cats love it! The bottom is great for hiding while playing or just napping, and the top is big enough for our small and large cats to rest comfortably. After several weeks of intense play, Spot tore a hole in the fabric on the side of the house, but the hole hasn't grown much in the past few weeks and it's still her favorite place to hang out. Highly recommended!

After 2 weeks my cat finally got used to it. He particularly likes the small "shelter" on the ground floor. However, I was disappointed after assembling the scratching post. It's smaller than I expected, partly my fault for not double checking the dimensions. I expected it to be bigger and roomier for my cat. It would be great for a kitten, not recommended if you have more than 1 cat. My 2 year old cat still uses it but wished it was a little bigger, especially for the price.

Great instructions! Large print, photos of each step, all details are labeled for easy identification. All parts fit together very well. My adult cat is not large but is heavy and jumps from a chair about a meter away onto a perch. The scratching post can handle it. It also tries not to tip over when it jumps off its perch. This scratching post is very well made and easy to assemble. However, I would like to point out that this is for smaller cats. My big tabby kitten can't get comfortable upstairs.
