Three hits - after the second failure it should have failed, but the warranty guaranteed a replacement. Every one of these new West Blend pressure cookers has failed. My current item is out of warranty and I have no intention of replacing this particular item with anything like this. Programmed functions completely and unexpectedly stop working. The pressure cooker setting as well as the multi-cooker go from "Start" to "End" within a minute of programming without cooking at all. I've breastfed that last potty all his life, and when I started hearing the soft pops, I knew his days were numbered. When a pressure cooker works perfectly, it does a fantastic job. But historically, unfortunately, it can fail completely and cannot be repaired.
