I ordered a green/red pack. The green color is so dark that at first I thought the black set was accidentally sent to me. I was surprised and very upset that there was no paperwork at all in the package, so no usage/configuration instructions - not even schematics. Remembering the pictures I saw online I had a hard time figuring it out, but to be honest I still don't know if I set up the interior correctly. I used this item in my garage to connect an extension cord to a car battery charger that will stay in place for most of the winter, so obviously this is a connection I want to keep secure so the cord connections don't come loose or solve . separately. The extension I used was 16 gauge and very thick. Based on the look of this cord sleeve I wasn't sure if a thick extension would fit, but there is a silicone sleeve on each end of the sleeve that adjusts to the thickness of the cord being used and still fits very snugly to the cord. to protect against any moisture. Also, there doesn't appear to be anything on them to scratch the surface they come in contact with, if that matters, and the cases close very tightly. The two greens pair well outdoors when I have a reason to use them, and the bright red serves as a nice reminder in my garage to unplug the charger before starting the car. Since my garage roof can leak a bit during very heavy rain, I want to know that this cable cover will protect my connection well and keep moisture out. They seem a bit pricey for what they are and I would say a fair price would be around $10 for a 3 pack compared to the $20 I paid. However, it's nice to have this and know that my electrical connection is secure and watertight. For this price, instructions with a diagram should actually be included in the kit. I still have no idea how the stirrup-like piece connects, so I just left it.
