Update: Just a few notes after installing and using the device. First, if you place a multimeter between the positive and negative terminals on an unfused terminal when connected to a power supply, you might think you have a voltage leak. During my initial check, I checked for continuity with my multimeter, but no power was connected. Don't worry if you see voltage between the positive and negative terminals of a blown fuse. Why? To make sure the device works I removed the back cover but did not remove the circuit board. There should be a diode on the board that controls the LEDs that light up when the fuse blows. Diodes only allow current to flow in one direction, and the current is needed to light the LEDs. I put my multimeter in diode test mode and verified that current can only flow in one direction if the fuse is blown or not. This is the direction to the LED. As expected, no current flows to the device connected to the terminals. One downside that caused me to deduct a star from my rating is that the main positive terminal is a bit loose from not being attached very well. In fact, the entire positive pole inside the device is bent. This is easily solved by fitting the washer as small as possible on the outside to prevent the bottom nut from moving through the plastic hole and into the back of the unit. I added shims on both sides to secure the inner hoop and prevent it from bending. I wish they would either do this modification at the factory or just make the plastic hole smaller. After the modification, my main positive pole became very reliable. I've included a picture of the mod. Original: I haven't installed it in my solar system yet, but I checked it with a multimeter and everything is fine. I like the handle for closing and opening the front panel because it doesn't just rely on a clip system that can break with repeated use. There are clips but they seem strong enough if you don't press anything.
