Why do they fake the pockets?

These shorts look fine and fit OK. I have no complaints on that. However, why does Rekucci (and others) always keep us guessing on whether the pockets are real or fake? For heaven's sake why make fake pockets? I like pockets! At least, make it really clear in the descriptions.
