Disappointing product. slow and overheating

I bought this product because I thought it looked great, the features and functions are fantastic. As soon as I got it and plugged it into my Mac, it started overheating (before I had anything plugged into it). As soon as I plugged in my HDMI and USB for Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, it became very slow. Everything I typed was delayed. So I wanted to try again (thought I got the wrong one) and the second one had the exact same story. Very disappointed, will not buy again.

Pros

📺Universal SD Card Reader - can use SD card and micro SD card with fast transfer rate up to 104MB/s and capacity up to 512GB, easily take photos or videos with camera in seconds transferred from the card to the laptop.
