CCA C12 Review Great IEM! The C12 is a hybrid IEM from Clear Concept Audio or CCA. It has 1 dynamic driver and 5 balanced anchors on each side. They come in a black box with silver lettering. This is an attractive package with good protection for the earbuds. Accessories: They come with 3 typical silicone ear tips and a cheap cable. The cord is thin, tangles easily and has no chin slider. I wish they had charged $5 more and shipped a higher quality cable with a chin slider. These are very typical IEM accessories in this price range. I find them attractive and comfortable to wear. They have an acrylic body with a brushed aluminum faceplate and metal fasteners. Sound: I really like the overall sound of the CCA C12. I think they are linear with good bass extension and the mids are well balanced with the bass. There is no bass leakage into the mids. High frequencies are well tuned, have a lot of energy, but are not fatiguing. It's not harsh or sizzling. The C12 has great detail throughout the range, which I really liked. The separation of the instruments is also good. I think the only thing that could be improved is the soundstage. They are average in terms of soundstage and sound a bit intimate. Conclusion: Overall I think CCA did a great job with C12. They have a great extension in bass and treble. The music is very linear with lots of details. I really like these headphones. They seem to be of high quality and I can listen to them for hours. I think Clear Concept Audio has a real winner in the CCA C12!
