Review on Motorcraft PW423 New Water Pump: Optimal Performance Guaranteed by Shane Mack

Lots of negative reviews for this product or because people can't read. I'm a mechanic and have been dealing with parts for over 20 years. This is a genuine Ford Motorcraft water pump as you can tell by the Ford mark on the body and the casting mark on the side of the impeller shaft. Now she didn't arrive in a Ford Motorcraft box so I was a bit hesitant at first. But with those two labels I knew it was a genuine Ford part and not a repair, they don't repair water pumps, I've never seen one in my life. These water pumps are for older Ford 4.6 and 5.4 2 valve engines so the pumps have been on the shelf for over 20 years so obviously they will not arrive in pristine new condition aesthetically. But mechanically it's the pump for the 4.6 I have in my Grand Marquis.
