I bought this product for a 2005 Ford Focus ST. I was skeptical at first as my car has a reverse lock that has to be pulled with a piece of plastic. Switch on reverse gear. I asked a question that no one answered. He said "Whatever it was, $10" and bought it. The back is fully functional but the spring should be slightly visible as the handle is not recessed like my standard. However, it works! Who cares when you see spring? On the other hand, it was much smaller than I expected. It's nice, but you could see a small stain of color on the gear indicator. But for $10 what do you expect? Is working. looks ok Although it's small, with a different grip style, it's surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced shifter.
