Threading a screw and washer down the center of the drywall box results in a truly secure hanger suitable for valuable artwork. There are also other fixtures where the wire runs through a maze-like grove to keep the art from bouncing off the wall in an earthquake, but hanging and especially hanging your art through these mazes is much more difficult. They are also much more expensive. It doesn't matter that the pivoting part of the carabiner that fixes the wire is weak. It only needs to stay in place during a brief earthquake. I am happy about this decision.
