I had not heard of this brand before purchasing this unit. My first impression when unpacking the device was that it is well made and visually appealing. It's pretty heavy for its size. Although I do wish the blue Brio logo, which is mainly displayed in the center of the front panel, wasn't there. In any case, connecting to the water supply is not difficult, although each installation has its own characteristics. problems. The chilled water was about the same temperature as the water from the dispenser in my fridge, and hot water is good enough for tea and hot chocolate. My problem is where to place the block. At 19 1/2 inches tall, it is too tall to fit on a countertop under the upper wall cabinets. Typically this space is 18 inches, so it should be on an open countertop. I would like it on the back wall and under the cabinet but it just doesn't fit. So I have to find a suitable place. Overall, I really like the device, but its height is an issue, so plan ahead.
