MY ITCHY LASHES AND EYES GONE!

Eyelashes have been driving me insane for several months, itching, my eyes were dry and itchy. My over-the-counter eye drops didn't help much. My eye doctor was very nonchalant when I asked, saying it was all related to my rosacea. wait, do i have rosacea? But yes I had a little rash around my nose, slight redness, it could very well be rosacea, I didn't anticipate it but apparently "ocular rosacea" could be a precursor to facial rosacea. My eyelids were very red. The doctor said to wash the eyelids with baby shampoo and then use eyelid wipes. Well it was a little soothing and then it went back to itching/scratching. So I did my own research and found that my problem COULD just be demodectic mites, a very common mite that most people have but not usually a problem. . So I improved my routine and ordered Cliradex wipes. I wash my eyes and the affected areas of my face with baby shampoo and then use a Cliradex wipe on my eyelids, eyebrows and the area around my nose where the breakouts were. The burning sensation was quite strong but passed quickly, as did the not very pleasant aroma. I really hope these mites go away and keep complaining. All the articles I've read state that tea tree oil is the only natural product that kills demodectic mites, so it makes sense that the tea tree oil extract in Cliradex would do what it's supposed to do. (As an experiment, I tried using a cotton swab that just had rubbing alcohol in it - no reaction.) The redness around my nose is GONE. My eyes feel MUCH BETTER, I can't describe the relief. I switched from Systane Balance Drops to Systane Ultra because they are thicker and last longer. It's important to keep your eyes hydrated, it used to be a big problem, but I got so used to dry, itchy eyes no matter what I did that I gave up. Ultra does its job. I am very, very happy with Kliradex, highly recommended. This isn't a cheap date. But the napkin is big enough to cut in half while still folded, and I'll save the other half for later. There seems to be enough product in each half to get the job done. (I sanitize the scissors.) Ladies throw away all your mascara etc, you could very well get reinfected every time you apply it! No wonder my eyes get itchy more and more when I put on make-up. Play safe.
