This is my first time using this Megawise humidifier and said I would do an additional verification after using it a second time have tried. Time and what I did last night. I turned on the humidifier this morning from 11pm to 8am and it was very quiet again, I heard no sound. This time I increased the mist a few notches and not quite to the middle and when I woke up in the middle of the night I could tell how much cleaner the room was and I didn't have a dry throat. I was also very pleased with how quickly customer service responded to two email questions I sent them about the humidifier and I received a response within 24 hours! In the photo above, that little white piece, I couldn't figure out where it went and I couldn't figure it out by looking at the manual. So I found there is a hole on the side of the bottom base and it just fits in there. When I looked at what was in that hole, there was a tiny screw, and that piece was covering that hole. The second question I asked was whether the mist would heavily wet furniture, carpets, etc. They replied that the humidifier emits "nano mist". The customer service I received upgraded Megawise's star status to 5!
