Review on Transformer Thermostat Competible Versions Honeywell by Rodney Harris

I have used this with my Ecobee4 but have found that especially on windy days (which is common in Rhode Island near the bay) the performance fluctuates and I believe this to one lead will turn off Ecobee. When they contacted support they said that this 24v AC was "faulty" and that I should have one that outputs 27-28 volts (what?.). Anyway, they offered an Elk brand power supply. I refuse to give this rating stars because guess what, this thing outputs just over 24 volts and will likely stabilize at around 24 volts under load (I haven't tested the part under load). For those looking to power the Ecobee, note that you will need a power supply that simulates the slightly higher voltage that furnace transformers seem to put out.
