Before you buy this speaker, you need to understand what it's for. If you haven't seen this speaker in action and don't prefer sound, you can probably get "better sounding" consumer speakers for the same price. However, you won't find one as reliable as this one. They are used in many theme parks and commercial applications around the world. The Control 29 is likely the brainchild of an expanded line of JBL Pro speakers from the original Control Contractor range, which originally only included the Control 23, 25 and 28. The SB-210 and Control 30 differ from the original series. Unlike its larger and smaller siblings, this column has gone through two revisions (29AV and 29AV-1). Despite using an 8-inch driver the same size as the Control 28, the frequency response and overall output are much higher than expected. It also has more suspension options, including points around the speaker, although the Invisiball mount also includes a stronger lattice construction than the Control 23, 25 and 28. This "premium" speaker also includes accessories like a weatherproof jack cover. which usually costs around 30 US dollars with little control dynamics. All in all, if you're looking for a high-performance, weatherproof speaker, I recommend you take a closer look at this speaker. If you need more power, you should take a closer look at the Control 30. If you are looking for less money but still want good sound, take a look at the Control 28.
