My daughter wears a big anti-dress in favor of comfy pants, and she really likes those pants. It's a nice thick material, soft and durable, with nice side pockets (a step ahead of sweatpants and leggings) and a relaxed, athletic fit, ideal for active kids. wear them because it's too close to the old double jersey from my childhood. But cotton is enough for a good look and feel, and poly is durable. Besides, I don't wear them; and she is happy with them. Not too long for my little kid but they are thick enough to know they will be long enough unless your kid is a true green bean. Roomy enough if your child is of substantial build with a really nice wide waistband.
