I have used better and cheaper

Was happy to use real Water Pik brand dental floss after all they invented this handy little tool! I have an unnamed irrigator and was curious to compare them. I've had an unbranded thread for a while and use it several times a day with no problems. Well, which one is better? An easy choice for me, I will use a "brand" water floss. WHAT?! Here's why: This Waterpik is NOT rechargeable. Of course you can use rechargeable batteries, but I prefer the rechargeable unit. This Waterpik contains only 2 nozzles. My other device had at least 6 of these! This irrigator only has 2 speed settings. My other block contains more speeds and I actually use most of them. This Waterpik's switch is inconvenient to manipulate during use. I prefer the style and placement of the unnamed model. Both devices are waterproof and can be used in the shower. The pantry of both devices is basically filled the same way. Also, the custom brand is significantly cheaper and performs better in my opinion. So compare which options are most important to you. Then decide if you want to pay more for an original brand that may have fewer features. That being said, I haven't compared the guarantees, so Waterpik might win in that regard. I've had the cheaper model for at least 6 months with daily use and no issues but works great.

Pros
  • Oral care
Cons
  • Expensive
