I've had an old plastic stacker for many years and I love that it lifts bottles from the back and holds a bin. BUT - there is nothing in front so that the spice jars don't fall forward! So if you hit or knock over one, they all fall down. This organizer has simple railings on the front and sides to keep that from happening! Huge difference. Big upgrade. (The old plastic shelf has been replaced with nail polish bottles which I rarely use!) These sturdy metal shelves can be used as 2 units or 1 longer.
