I tried the "plush" version, which was completely unplush and awful in every way, and then stumbled upon this one. This is exactly what I was looking for. Lint was almost gone. Keeps me and my husband warm. Even with hot flashes, I don't wake up with drops. The softness of the bear is as amazing as the plush luxury. The only downside is literally I ordered light gray and it's so light it looks more like pearl white. But it's 5 stars in every other category and we don't eat in the bed or allow pets to sleep, so it doesn't matter. This blanket is strong enough that I very much doubt they will harm him if you prefer to sleep with animals unless you cut their nails.
