This thread is made from organic candelilla wax. Before using, I felt the thread. It was a bit rough. I thought it would be silkier than regular yarn. I'm so glad it was different. It's slightly thicker than the silk thread I used. However, when I pull the thread, it does its job with no problem. It didn't get as silky, but that less silky feel was better for my gums. More rubbish came out. Also, I have the narrowest teeth. I usually tie a small knot in my thread to make sure all the dirt comes out. I'm pretty sure I don't have to do that with this thread. I still wanted to try. I did this and it worked like a gem. Ecolifearth, you have a new client. Once my old thread runs out or I throw it away I will start using yours regularly. I like the compostable bamboo bin. It's easy to use, refill and reuse. All I have to do is order new fiber to refill. Well, as far as the mint goes, I really did my best to taste the flavor. However, he is so weak for my taste. I really don't care. It will make my gums happy and visit my dentist too. It helps reduce plaque, gum disease and stop tooth decay. My teeth are my health.
