A picture is worth a thousand words. I wish I could snag one that shows the performance of the highest quality filter I could find on a supermarket shelf, but if you're reading this you know all too well what it looks like; the water floats in it with the coffee grounds scattered over the filter reservoir and your pot. I used to resign myself to making two small pots instead of one full pot, and even then I held my breath. I love my coffee, but I'd rather drink it than chew it. As a previous reviewer astutely pointed out: A successful filter is not determined by the height of the filter, but by its porosity. This shows the outcome of a full pot and as you can see it never comes close to overflowing. I love it! Buy it. They are amazing.
