Review on πŸ‘’ Sloggers Women's Waterproof Rain and Garden Boot with Comfort Insole - Black/White Polka Dot - Size 10 - Style 5013BP10 by John Carter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Super cute and VERY well done! Be sure to order if you are a size 1/2.

I'm a size 8.5-9 but I have a 9. I don't have particularly wide feet or calves but I would like the shank to be SLIGHTLY wider starting at the ankle. Hence 4 stars instead of 5. The boots fit my feet very well, although they are easier to put on than take off. The ankle area is so tight that there is a lot of suction when trying to take them off. It is so strong that the insoles lift and shift. I have to reset them every time. My feet always get stuck in them unless I'm wearing long socks. On the plus side, with Sloggers, if you EVER lose a boot in thick mud, it's likely never to happen again. These boots are made for people who need to get things done. They are very flexible and incredibly light. Through thick puddles, mud, slush etc. I feel very safe in it. They are like a second skin. I haven't run long distances in it so I can't confirm long term comfort. I need them in spring because my backyard is grassless and turning into a pond/mud pit. My previous pair of wellies was about $50, but they broke in at least two places on each boot before 12 months had passed. Another thing I love about Sloggers is that the boot's design/pattern is printed onto a wetsuit-like fabric. It is then covered with a transparent flexible rubber material about 1/8 inch thick. That means if you scratch your boots you can still see the beautiful pattern on them. On my $50 boots, the design was printed across the top of the boot. Rubber that wears out over time. If you have large calves then you can try their boots instead of boots: Sloggers 2841BK09 Women's Rain and Gardening Ankle Boots with Comfortable Insole Size 9 Midsummer Black Super cute and very well made! Just order if your size is 1/2.
