Review on ViewSonic VA2212M LED 22 Inch LED Lit Monitor 1920X1080P, 75Hz, Wide Screen, ‎VA2212M-LED by Darrell Chavez

I was hesitant to buy this monitor because others spoke of an unstable base, but in the end the low price convinced me. To be honest I don't know what others had in mind when they mentioned the unstable base. The one that came with mine is sturdy enough that I put it on top of the phone book and it barely wobbles when I shake the table (and most of it looks like it's more phone book related). . The only issue I have with the base is that it's not adjustable and it's not very high (hence the phone book). Unless you have a desk with a raised portion for a monitor or other mount, you'll find yourself looking down at an awkward angle. As for the monitor itself, I have no complaints. Everything is exactly as described, the display settings are intuitive, there are no flaws. It comes with a DVD that the instructions tell you to install, but you don't need it. I hooked it up to three different computers without installing anything from the DVD and they all worked great.
