I bought them because I wanted to wear earrings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as doing 10 piercings a night with long nails was too heavy. I noticed that these backs were looser on two of my earrings, so I cut a regular soft earring in half to hold the earring in place and placed them on top. Worked great! When I tried, I could feel the tips of my earrings from behind with my finger, but in my dream I didn't feel anything! I flip back and forth on both sides and it feels like I'm not wearing any earrings at all! Everyone stays the night, even those who, it seemed to me, have relaxed a little. I'll be buying another pack now knowing they work for backups!
