The curved tip that fits onto the cup holder is very smart and a lot less wasteful than the liners used in some other coasters. The button feels a bit cheesy when pressed. Aside from the nondescript button, the build quality is harmless. After installation, nothing bothers, there is no creaking or rattling, but it is not very well made. However, there is one major downside. The kickstand that holds the phone stand is in the center so no matter how you turn your phone, it hangs on the side of the cup holder. If your cup holders are the same as mine, one in front of the other and fairly close together (2003 Subaru Baja), that means your phone is hanging over the other cup holder, pressing it against the drink. Worse, I can't put the stand in another cup holder because then my phone will be pushed against the center console. To be fair, this isn't an issue if your cupholders are further apart, or if they're side-by-side rather than front-to-back. It's not so bad that I'm going to send it back either. It's just frustrating that this issue could have easily been avoided by simply moving the attachment point back a bit.
