Generally not a bad device. Very easy to use. Only 1 switch to toggle between loop recording and motion detection. That's the whole configuration. Insert a memory card, flip the switch to either position, and connect. She starts recording immediately. Motion detection works, but there is a few seconds of lag between motion and recording, but recording seems reliable. movement after those few seconds. The video quality is decent. Not for the better, but I've definitely seen worse, especially for a small, entry-level spy camera. The video isn't exactly smooth either. Mostly, but there is a little jitter. My biggest problem is just the field of view. In my opinion it is not wide enough, especially since it is only limited by the fact that there is a way out. If you plug it into a regular outlet near the floor, anyone in the same room will just get kicked. This is just something to keep in mind when setting up the device. Definitely test. All in all it's ok for the price as long as you remember to check the viewing angle.
