As nice as this jewelry organizer is, it does not close once you put in all your jewelry, if you have beaded jewelry. It can only accomodate thin necklaces and thin bracelets. It also cannot display earrings which do not have hooks. I was so eager to receive this, but its use to me is minimal. it did not revolutionize my jewelry organization like i expected or saw it did for others in the comments. I am also disappointed in the handle for opening the cabinet. its non-existent. You have to pull it apart with your fingers, which can leave finger marks on the mirror, or reguire use of force to open the cabinet door. A handle or knob would have been a good addition.
