Complete scam and dubious seller.

In a word, the controller is changed to garbage RTS5763DL with worse firmware logic, and not Phison PS5013-E13 is already in public reviews. Details: I bought this from TEAMGROUP Inc. official seller and not 3rd party, so the product is genuine and brand new from factory store. I bought the MP33 "PRO" version and actually paid extra for "PRO". "PRO" is a mid-range product that should be better than the NON-PRO version, but it is NOT. I understand that due to the current supply chain issues, it is advisable to move to another part, but at least create an alternative of a similar level. Each review site claims to use TeamGroup's Phison PS5013-E13 (E13 for short), which is a very good budget no-drama performer. The theoretical speed of E13 can reach the declared speed of TeamGroups MP33PRO, and the write speed after the cache is used up is much faster than the hard disk speed. MP33 (NOT PROFESSIONAL). Its write speed is much less than 1500 MB/s, namely 1475 (with an unused cache), which is much less than the advertised write speed of TeamGroup's MP33PRO. That means intentionally false advertising. Further testing of this example that I received proves that this is nonsense: First, TeamGroup uses a rather aggressive write logic for the RTS5763DL, which is the entire SLC disk cache, to fool inexperienced customers. Those who find the driver quickly should also be aware that it has consumed 4 times the lifespan of the NAND flash compared to a normal one. Regardless of how much space is left, this aggressive logic will eat them all up first to mimic a 1/3 space SLC cache (causing 2 extra weartimes) and later slowly release them (causing another extra weartime) . The E13 only has dozens of GB of FIXED SLC cache to speed things up reasonably without severely impacting NAND life. Second, not only does it eat up more life, but the write speed from the SLC cache is completely unacceptable. The highest speed is 180 MB/s for a very short period of time and the lowest is 1314 MB/s, which is less than 100 MB/s on average. I bought TLC instead of QLC because I don't need QLC speed but the final speed is half of QLC? You are joking. I believe this slow speed is mainly due to the need to free the SLC cache. That's even less than the HDD speed! Third, the low speed is also affected by the excess heat it generates. Normally, a lower NVME speed should generate less heat, but that certainly doesn't apply here. I don't know how Teamgroup can reach 75C at such a slow write speed in my full tower case with sufficient airflow. My other two nvme's rarely go over 60°C during extensive recording work. If I could I would give this rubbish, mid level bogus scam and dishonest TeamGroup 0 stars.
