This case fits iPhone 12 Pro Max in LIFEPROOF FRE case. It's tight, but I would expect the elastic to stretch a bit with use and ease the fit. The only thing I don't like is the Velcro. The velcro is so strong that it is difficult to undo and access the phone (i.e. answer the call) in a hurry. Also, Velcro tends to stick to fabric (like your clothes) and damage it. For my application, at least a shorter flap would be good enough for most of the phone to be locked in the pocket, and a magnetic closure would be preferable. The fit of the iPhone 12 Pro Max in the case is snug enough that it definitely won't fall out, so I just flipped the cover back and inserted the Velcro into the vertical belt slot on the back of the holster. Another solution would be to find some velcro to attach it to the flap so it doesn't get caught on the holster. Folding the lid back seems to help so far. Just make sure you place the phone in the case with the screen facing you to avoid accidental touch activation or possible screen damage (which shouldn't happen with a proper screen protector, but you just never know what will happen). in everyday activities).
