Purchased this splint after being diagnosed with carpal tunnel and told to sleep in a splint at night. I ordered this one and was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put on myself and so comfortable. The soft pad on the palm is so soft that it prevents the wrist and palm from bending. There is a detachable metal bar that holds the wrist in place and can be removed for washing. The 3 velcro strips are sticky but cut so the velcro will not stick to duvets or sheets. My joints hurt a lot less now that I wear a splint at night. Highly recommended!
