I'm a digital nomad and very picky about the technology I buy. I've been using a portable monitor for 3 years and this is my 3rd. There is a significant difference in the quality of the screen and the brightness. Currently my laptop's screen is 17.3 inches at 1440p and I have found that my eyes cannot tell the difference between this monitor and my laptop. Much better than previous portable screens. My laptop isn't Thunderbolt compatible, but 1 USB-C cable provides it with power and video, which is a big surprise! Previous monitors required Thunderbolt to have a PD and display over a single cable. Very happy with this monitor, have been using it 8 hours a day for the last 3 months and it's perfect. My only complaint is that unlike my two previous monitors (from other manufacturers), it doesn't come with a hard carrying case.
