I only use them for normal walking 4.5 miles three times a week around the neighborhood. When I'm done, I put on different shoes. I find them very comfortable, light and with good support. After about four months, when I run 4.5 miles three times a week, the top of the mesh (starting at the big toe) wears out. Shoes fit well. Don't expect it to last very long.
