I ordered this to keep my beard/goatee lines straight and clean. The product has a good fit and finish. They are mainly made of plastic such as lucite or acetate. The tool is uncluttered, which is a plus, as is the blue screen logo that lets you capture and control with your fingertips. A hairdresser's pencil and a sharpener will help when making control marks. If you have a gray or white beard, make sure you have a black barber pencil handy. The included color photos and instructions will help you get off to a good start. When the tool is placed on a hard and flat surface, it won't take the shape of your face, and the type of plastic it's made of allows it to move if you're not careful. To improve this product I would keep all the features including the transparent material design. However, I would use thin, flexible yet durable plastic around the edges to conform to the user's face. A material that is not so prone to slipping. In other words, almost like a flexible plastic frame around a transparent plexiglass. I'm giving it 4 stars for the above reasons. I am sure that over time I will be able to use the product comfortably and easily.
