Damn, worth every penny pre-order! I love this little guy as I love all my JBLs! It's an epic thing, it literally looks like a mid-range all-in-one speaker! I've always been curious to buy one of the Sony speakers to try out, but the style of last year's models just wasn't to my liking! But when I first saw it in a CES video on YouTube, I noticed it and said it was my first Sony speaker! God am I glad I ordered it, it took first place among my favorite mid-range Bluetooth speakers, but the JBL Charge 3 is still in second place. Back to the claim that all-in-one with light show is both portable battery life and durability. In really good stereo sound with well distributed drivers! The speaker is described by Sony as a fun speaker and they stand in the middle of the dark with lights flashing which is really cool and what they call a phone they are probably targeting an audience that enjoys party music, hip R&B hop and EDM -Trap loves please everyone as if they should be heard, especially in the live sound mode which definitely seems adapted for this particular generation. Definitely seems to cater to these particular genres. The app works well with it to change lighting and music settings, works great on my S8 plus! Amazing room-filling sound with bass retention - excellent for a speaker of this size! I thought I'd have to wait for the JBL Charge 4 but no, at least it's taken its place now! The point is, if you like live party music or even something relaxing, this is one of the best stylish/good sound options out there! You can't go wrong with this purchase!
