Looking through product reviews is often a double-edged sword. Which one should you trust more when there seems to be an almost equal gap between high and low ratings? With this kennel I had to keep the low reviews and NOT buy it. Be careful and trust the low reviews this product is fully deserved. The house is very cheaply made from flimsy materials that seem to break easily if you look at them from the wrong side. In fact, after unpacking we found cracks and broken pieces everywhere and the lid wouldn't even bolt to the house as a large part had broken off. The plastic legs were cracked and when the house was moved slightly, the base of one of the wooden legs broke off. Update - a year later: all legs are now broken, splinters everywhere, broken plates on the floor and a $300 vet. a bill for repairing a torn dog's ear because one of the pieces of wood broke off and cut the dog's ear. I didn't notice that he dropped out immediately, otherwise he would have been eliminated. This thing is made of wood so cheap it breaks easily so I urge everyone to stay away from this product. We are currently in the process of finding another solution. Waste of money in more ways than one. If I could give zero stars, I would.
