Review on 🪵 Teak Entryway Bench by Redmon Since 1883 by Owoeye Reed

This is an impressive teak bench for the price. The finish is excellent. No dents or chips found. I really can't believe the quality of the wood and finishes. We used to buy the more expensive Aquateak brands to find flaws in the wood and finishes. There is even a disclaimer from Aquateak. However, Redmon is just perfect as the attached image shows. As another reviewer said, there are no instructions, but that pretty much speaks for itself. Two screws per leg hold each leg in place, and there is a recess in the middle of each leg to support the center shelf. Another reviewer also said that the shelf doesn't fit well, all I can say is that the fit on mine isn't perfect, but good enough that I haven't noticed any displacement. Assembly was easy and you really have to tighten every screw to keep the legs from sagging. At $120, it's a steal. Hopefully this will encourage Aquateak to improve on their very expensive products. I will say that the Aquateak benches are denser and seem to use more wood. If there was something to improve in Redmon, then you could put another board on the bench so that the gaps don't get so big. However, if I need more benches, I will definitely buy another one.
