Needed 8k flex cables for the back of my receiver as the space between the back of the receiver and the case is very limited so I decided to try them. Most cables are pretty thick and rigid, and since the HDMI 2.1 specs are fairly new, I figured maybe they just need to be that thick, but I decided to give it a try. My receiver has a way of testing the cables and I figured I could test them before actually installing them and then run into problems (photos of the results are attached). The cables are very nicely made, work great with my receiver, Apple TV 4K, my 4K Blu Ray player and my LG CX TV. I'm glad I took a chance and bought these and I really like how flexible they are as almost all other cables are very stiff and put too much strain on the HDMI connectors if they don't have room to move.
