Scion Xa License Plate Bulbs - very bright and inexpensive

I finally had a bulb die on my 2006. Not bad, right? Instead of buying more lightbulbs, I've decided to switch to LEDs and hopefully live longer. For this price they can't be beat. The color is a very light white perfect for the license plate. The hardest part (thanks to Toyota) was removing the trim with those horrible plastic fasteners that are on the inside of the tailgate. Half the time the fasteners slip out of the trim and stay in the car where you never get them out. Disconnecting the electrical connectors from the light bulb sockets is easy. The sockets themselves are clogged and missing. Just twist counterclockwise and they come out.
