Require rechargeable batteries

These lights are great I only have one problem. They suck the battery too fast! I had to buy batteries to save money. I use them as a night light. I can get them high enough that the kids can't reach them to play with, but I can. They get pretty light or matte, it's great that they change color. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the battery life.
