The holder itself has multiple pockets including a large one for larger items and Molly-like straps on the front for other attachments. The large pocket consists of two parts, one part is a large storage pocket and the other is a lined pocket for the hydration bladder to keep it cool. The packaging design and material is well made and larger than most hydration packs. Straps at waist and chest to keep backpack from dangling. The bottle itself has a well-made lid that screws on tightly and doesn't leak even with heavy pressure. The connection of the hose to the cheese head screws differs from conventional snap connections. The tube also has a neoprene sleeve to protect you from the tube snagging or rubbing against your skin which can cause irritation when running or hiking. And finally, the mouthpiece has an odd but oddly effective locking mechanism to prevent leakage. Most hydration systems use either a flow switch or a bite and drink mouthpiece, but this system uses a bite and drink mouthpiece with easy pull and push flow. It's weird, but surprisingly it works.
