I have a Papillion, about 10 pounds and I was looking for a new winter coat for it. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this given the lack of reviews, but I'm glad I did. It fits well and is easy to put on and take off. Highlights: * At least it's waterproof. I applied a few drops of water, let it sit for a few minutes, then turned the coat on its side. The water beaded off and the water didn't seem to penetrate the material of the coat. * There are two holes for the leash. One is very similar to the slit you see on most other dog coats and the second is zippered. I can't tell you how many times I've put on a different dog coat before tying the leash, which required either taking the coat off again or trying to thread the hook on the leash through the collar hole, causing pressure on the neck of the dog exercised . The biggest pleasant surprise was that the hood actually fits over my dog's ears and for a Papillion that says a lot. On every other hooded coat I've bought, the hood is too small to be really functional. Loops for the hind legs are most likely not needed and I will either cut them off or not use them. Let me put it this way: after putting the coat on my dog, I immediately ordered a second one.
