I like this mount. We live in upstate New York and drive long distances (5 hours straight) with our little girl so an iPad is a must and she is too young to hold anything. The mount itself works great. My only concern is that the mount itself will fall off if not attached properly; and if you leave it in the car and there is some heat then the pads that support the ipad melt instantly and the tablet becomes sticky (and it's not because i live in arizona - we're 3 hours from canada, so that's not very never hot). All in all, while it's sturdy and works well, I just take the mount with me when we're not using it.
