Review on πŸ’… Marley Marie Naturals Orange Ginger Nail Polish Remover - Energizing Formula, 4 oz. Bottle by Christy Ghosh

Used correctly, this is an excellent nail polish remover.

This is a really good alternative to acetone based nail polish remover. The trick is to understand how it works and use it accordingly. When I first used this nail polish remover, I scraped and rubbed my nails with a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover. It felt like I was taking too much "elbow grease" just to get my polish off. Then I realized that the nail polish remover should stay on the nail and soften the polish before it wears off. Now, using an old eyeshadow brush, I apply a little bit of remover to each nail. I leave it on for 20-30 seconds and then wipe each nail with a cotton swab. Polishing is done without much effort. Sure, it lasts longer than using straight acetone, but my nails feel a lot healthier and are less prone to breakage. This remover smells nice and actually feels like a moisturizer on my nails. Remember to leave the remover on your nails before wiping them off with a cotton swab. And don't forget to wash the leftovers off your hands. It is necessary. After using this product I rarely use acetone. Note: I use a base coat, 2 coats of color and a top coat. So it's safe to say that it works on multiple coats of paint. This is a good alternative for those who want a gentler nail polish remover and don't mind having the nail polish removed in 3-4 minutes (start to finish).
