3 stars because hair is not sticky or greasy. It works to deter flyers, but only for a few hours at most before I have to reapply. Also you have to be careful with the comb/coil on the end and how you run it through your hair as I've used it more than once and I think I pushed it back too far and then actually made more flies/bumps than I originally had. I mean it does what it says on the tin if you're careful and take your time, but to be honest on the days I have to use it I tie my hair in a bun because I don't have time to smooth them. curl them and then it kind of defeats the fast target. It also does NOT work on wet hair. Perhaps because my hair is drying out it's usually time for a reapplication, but I noticed flyaways after just 15 minutes of use on damp hair, around the time I had to commute to work. If you don't mind or have time for frequent applications, this could be good for you. But I just don't know. However, as mentioned, I love the fact that it doesn't leave my hair stiff or greasy, but it's still easier and quicker to just deal with the crunch and use hairspray.
