Review on πŸŽ’ Carhartt Legacy Women's Convertible Backpack: Handbags, Wallets, and Fashion Backpacks by Dhoal Olson

The best bag, with a few minor caveats!

This is *almost* the perfect bag for me and I've tried many bags. I wanted something that could be both backpack and messenger, easy to swap from one to the other, not too big but still big enough for my laptop, iPad and various devices and accessories, waterproof and with a separate water bottle holder . Well, this bag fits! And it appears to be very durable, in true Carhartt tradition. So I'm very, very happy with it. The only area where it could use some improvement is the strap. I read some other reviews complaining about this but decided to give it a try anyway because everything else sounded perfect. The fact is that the bag has a strap and you pull it one way to use it as a backpack (so the strap folds into two straps) and the other way to make it a messenger strap. To be honest it's brilliant. I like it a lot more than other bags that require you to either carry and put on the backpack straps separately (no way) or put what you don't need in the pocket (better, but still painful). With this strap you can change in seconds. BUT the only thing he can use is a way to keep him from going through the middle of the strap when he goes into backpack mode. The whole bag can tip on its side too easily before you can fasten the strap where it should be. I'm working on improving my skills here because I think the ease and speed of the conversion is worth some learning. They are really on the right track here, it could only be done a little better! Also, I wouldn't mind a bigger front pocket. It fits in my wallet and headphones, but not my phone, keys or anything else. However, it has become my everyday bag, whether it's an afternoon stroll or a trip to the coffee shop for work. really dig it Thank you Karhart!
