More like a washable crayon, not chalk.

I gave these chalks only 2 stars because I bought them thinking they would not be waxy. I was wrong. They are waxy so not good for a chalkboard. You can remove then with a wet towel from the chalkboard. I wanted chalk that I could blend with my finger like the traditional white chalk is. Sorry, but these are more like washable crayons.
