If you like fast charging and your device is newer then go for it.

I was attracted by the little things that didn't matter when I bought it, and the positive feedback from people who either have old technology or don't care how slowly their devices load or transfer data. I loved that there were 3 different length cables so I got everything I needed in one purchase and in a color I was happy with. But I noticed that from the first time I plugged my phone in, it didn't talk about fast charging like it did with the factory cable that came with the phone. At first I thought maybe the length of the cable was the problem so I tried the other 2 shorter cables and they all gave me slow charging speeds compared to the fast charging the factory cable was reporting. I'm used to charging my S10e from full charge to full charge in 2 hours. I plugged this cable back in to see how slow it was and thought maybe the phone could detect that a different wqs cable was being used and maybe Samsung wanted to get people to use and buy their accessories (a first Samsung owner, LG, converted). Anyway, it took just over 4 hours from 20% to full, and my Galaxy Tab was 6+. In my experience, slow charging and extra heat cause more problems. So remember to forget about the subtleties (color, multiple cables and different lengths) until you get the important information about the cable version and Gen. # because they contain important information about the types of chips etc. used in the manufacture of cables be used. I learned my lesson and now read the fine print before buying something as simple (or so I thought) as a USB cable to charge my phone. Sign up and short, if your device isn't 3 or 4 years old and you like fast charging, skip them.
