I love it! I don't like the cost of buying non-silk opaque tights. They make great undergarments for my winter medieval reenactments. Silk has amazing properties. In fact, I bought them to wear under my Roman priestess costume at a wedding I'm performing next weekend. Temperatures have dropped to a serious brrr factor lately. I look forward to putting on my beautiful Roman attire. A NOTICE. I wore tights under my suit and I liked them. Some may be surprised that it wasn't "status or luxury" that made me want silk. Silk has wonderful properties, it does not absorb moisture beyond the stretched surface. It doesn't breathe like a fiber and doesn't stretch, so the waffle pattern is important because this product can be worn by people of different heights and shapes. While it's not a solid silk, it will definitely do the job of nylon pantyhose. Did you know that Joe Namet wore tights to play soccer on snow and ice? Climbers will wear them under thermal underwear? Maybe I'll meet you here. Tights don't last long on my dogs at our house, they are much more durable and in my opinion worth the price. As an added value, this is enough to reduce chafing to a minimum. Win win in my book.
