These pants fit well when worn but...

These pants fit well when worn but the waist doesn't stretch very much so getting them towards the hips is a problem place. I wore them all day and by early evening I wasn't too hot either inside or outside and then as the temperature started to drop towards late evening and it was very early in the morning I felt warm. My biggest complaint is that I kneeled a lot and the woven texture of the fabric rubbed off a lot on my knees. Update: I used them a lot last October and then intermittently…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Very expensive

If only they were warm.

Did not meet my expectations at all. They're so thin, they're see-through. With all the good reviews I gave it a try. I wore them under my jeans for half an hour at 32 degrees and got cold feet. The wind cut right through them. My hands weren't even cold, but I thought my head would freeze. I will give these 2 compliments in case my expectations were too high. 1. I think the fit is right. I'm 5ft 4", 130# and wear a size 28 jeans. They hit my ankles and were snug around my waist. The crotch…

Strange Landing. too tight around the waist

They are definitely more transparent than I hoped, but I still had no intention of wearing them separately. Enough warmth inside. My complaint is correct. I'm 5ft 7in and 163lbs. and wear size 10-12 pants. I ordered big. The length is quite long, till the ankle. However, the waistband is too tight at the top. I know I'm not, because pants are always loose in the waist, and if there's any tightness, it's usually in the hips. The hips here were fine, but after wearing the pants for a few hours, I

Great for underwear.

I love her! I don't like the cost of buying non-silk opaque tights. They make great undergarments for my winter medieval reenactments. Silk has amazing properties. In fact, I bought them to wear under my Roman priestess costume at a wedding I'm performing next weekend. Temperatures have dropped to a serious brrr factor lately. I look forward to putting on my beautiful Roman attire. A NOTICE. I wore tights under my suit and I liked them. Some may be surprised that it wasn't "status or luxury"…

Slim and comfortable for extra warmth - plus an unexpected surprise!

If you think of Thermasilk as just a warm undergarment layer, it works exactly as it should. Very light, thin coat for a few extra degrees on cold days and nights. One thing I didn't know about this material, but quickly discovered when my wife first wore it, is that it's a little see-through, a little see-through. Normally it would be worth five stars and a personal thank you note from the company, but while this product was literally better than I imagined, the translucency of the material…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Working speed

Not for Minnesota winter

My husband and I bought a pair of these shoes in a men's and women's version. We live in St. Paul, Minnesota and it hasn't been a particularly cold winter, although we do have some cold days (it was -3F yesterday with -21 winds, cold for reference but not as cold as it gets here) . . I bought them because for some reason I could only find white silk in stores, and for a woman (for obvious reasons) that's a bad idea. I gave them about three stars because my husband is happy with the ease of use.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No performance
